VRV System Air Conditioning

A VRV system (Variable Refrigerant Volume, sometimes called VRF or Variable Refrigerant Flow) is one of the most energy-efficient ways to bring conditioned air to a family home, office complex or multi-level building. It's the system widely chosen by large hotels, hospitals and multi-level buildings with many occupants.
VRV regulates the flow of refrigerant according to the temperature of the space being cooled. One outdoor unit can serve one or many indoor units, or several outdoor units can be coupled to serve many indoor units, depending on the building's size and function. A Digital Thermal Expansion valve keeps delivered air within about ±0.5° of the set temperature, and an inverter compressor self-regulates workload to reduce cyclical energy demand.
The right VRV configuration depends on the building's function, internal volume, number of doors and windows, and anticipated occupants. We'll visit your site, or work with your architectural team, to determine the best mix of outdoor and indoor units and see the installation through to commissioning.
