Suspended Systems Air Conditioning

Floor-standing units are a type of split system mounted at floor level rather than high on the wall, useful if you'd rather keep your wall space for art than for an air conditioner. They come in compact, streamlined designs, and can be recessed into a wall, positioned below a window, or fitted into an old fireplace, a good space-saving option for smaller apartments.

Ceiling cassette units work the same way as a split system but are mounted flush into the ceiling, taking up less visible space in the room. They suit dwellings that need ceiling vents but lack the roof space for full ducting, and can distribute air from two, three or four sides depending on the model.
