Package Unit Air Conditioning
A self-contained roof or side-mounted unit suited to larger residential or commercial capacity needs.
A package air conditioning system is normally mounted on the roof or to the side of a property, with the entire system (fans, cooling coil, evaporator, filters, compressor and condenser) contained in a single casing, connected to the building's interior via ducting.
Unlike systems that drain condensate through a pipe, a package unit extracts condensate water via the evaporator coil, where it evaporates.
